Since 1981 the Sarasota Educational Resource Center has helped students in Sarasota, Florida and the surrounding areas.

People travel to our Sarasota Center from Bradenton, Venice, Arcadia, Palmetto, North Port, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Nokomis, Osprey, Englewood, Bradenton Beach, Ellenton, Lakewood Ranch, Palmer Ranch, Long Boat Key, Siesta Key and Anna Maria Island.

We pride ourselves on the progress of our students by providing a loving/caring environment where each student is encouraged to achieve his or her potential.

The emphasis of the Center is customized one-on-one tutoring programs for all ages and ability levels. Our services run the gamut from remediation to enrichment and can take place in the office or online.

SERC's teachers tutor Reading, Written Language, Math, Study Skills, and Test-Taking Skills from preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle, high school, and beyond. We also prepare students for SAT/ACT and GED Tests as well as College Essay Writing. The staff specializes in helping those with Dyslexia, Visual and Auditory Processing, Learning Disabilities (LD), and Attention Deficit Disorder (AD/HD).

All of SERC's Staff are qualified and experienced teachers. It is important to note that we only tutor children that we can help and we do not require any pre-payments or contracts.
